Bulk domain authority check

What the tool does

For each domain in the list, the tool shows four signals: Ahrefs link strength, the Open PageRank score, the Tranco popularity rank and Chrome UX Report field data. The site's server collects the data. You can save the table as CSV.

This is most often needed for three tasks.

• a first pass over link donors for outreach or guest posts;
• comparing competitors in a niche by authority and popularity;
• spotting suspicious sites: high DR with no Tranco rank and no CrUX data may mean few real visitors.

Each source uses its own scale, so compare numbers only within one column.

How to use it

One run checks up to 500 domains. Empty lines and duplicates are dropped, and lines over 500 are cut off. The host is checked as entered, so www.example.com and example.com are two rows.

A check takes three steps.

1. Paste domains or URLs into the "Domains (one per line, up to 500)" field. Only the host is taken from a URL.
2. Click "Check". Four requests run at a time, and "Stop" cancels those not yet started.
3. Click "Download CSV" to save domain-authority.csv.

The bar shows progress, and the table appears once all domains have answered.

How to read the results

Above the table you see the number of checked domains, the average DR and the error count. The table is sorted by DR, highest first, with domains without DR at the bottom. A dash "—" means the source did not answer or has no number for this domain.

The columns mean the following.

• DR (Domain Rating): backlink profile strength (0–100) from the free Ahrefs domain-rating-free endpoint. Colour: dark green from 70, green 50–69, yellow 20–49, grey below 20.
• OpenPageRank: a 0–10 authority score from the Common Crawl link graph. Colour thresholds: 7, 5 and 3.
• Tranco: global popularity rank: the lower the number, the more popular the site. "not listed" means the domain is not in the ranking.
• CrUX: Chrome field data for mobile, 75th percentile. "✓ CWV" means LCP ≤ 2.5 s, INP ≤ 200 ms and CLS ≤ 0.1, "✗ CWV" means at least one is worse. "in CrUX" means one of the three metrics is missing, "none" means Chrome has no data.

The CSV also has the Open PageRank global rank and referring domains. Without an Open PageRank key on the server, the note "Open PageRank disabled (no key)" appears above the table.

Why does CrUX show "none" for a well-known site?

CrUX checks https:// plus the host you entered. If the site runs on www and you entered the domain without it, there may be no data. Check both variants.

Where the data comes from and limits

The server-side proxy /api/ahrefs-dr fetches the data. The Ahrefs, CrUX and Open PageRank keys stay on the server and never reach the browser. DR is used under the Ahrefs Domain Rating license.

Answers are cached on the server: DR and Tranco for 24 hours, CrUX for 12 hours, Open PageRank for 7 days. A repeat check within that time returns the same numbers. Tranco requests go one at a time, so a large list takes longer. On HTTP 429 ("too many requests") the page retries up to two times.
